Gene Roddenbury creator of "Star Trek" took us where our minds had never gone before. In this he showed mankind a brighter future than ever before where techno-miracles come true and anything is possible. He has painted a future for the human race that is full of adventure and is limited only by our imagination. Taking technology for the better it can provide rather than for the worse. Gene's greatest legacy is perhaps his ability to convince people to embrace the future as opposed to hiding from it. Many lessons are taught by the programs he founded for all to enjoy. Surprisingly the original program would take time to catch on but later would prove itself universal in appeal. This appeal would spawn many movies and several generations of television serials.
